Baylor University's Interdisciplinary Creative Problem Solving Conference

Baylor University's Interdisciplinary Creative Problem Solving Conference for 7th through 12th grades will be held Friday, February 20 through Saturday, February 21, 2009 on the Baylor Campus.  Teams of 10 to 12 students from various school districts throughout Texas led by experts as team facilitators gather for an intense weekend of solving problems using the Creative Problem Solving Process.  By the end of the conference, each team will present the solution to their problem through a skit, PowerPoint presentation, brochure, and banner.  Meals will be held in Baylor Dining Halls.  Along with the conference is teacher professional development sessions led by leading experts in gifted issues.  Twelve hours of professional development in gifted education is available.
