Starting Strong: The Gifted Onboarding Experience
Kick off your conference experience with a powerful pre-conference summit designed to equip educators and leaders with the tools, strategies, and mindset needed to successfully onboard newly identified gifted learners and gifted families. The Gifted Onboarding Summit offers a purposeful and interactive learning experience that goes beyond identification, helping you build a meaningful and supportive path forward for gifted learners from day one through the implementation of Andi McNair’s Gifted Onboarding Framework. By participating in this summit, you’ll not only be part of a growing and evolving conversation, you’ll also build connections—both with others and with ideas—that will deepen your understanding of gifted education throughout the entire conference experience. Whether you're a classroom teacher, gifted specialist, or administrator, this summit will provide practical frameworks, essential resources, and actionable ideas to ensure gifted learners feel seen, supported, and served from the start.
Join us to explore best practices, avoid common missteps, and connect with others committed to serving gifted learners with intention and impact.
Speaker:
Andi McNair is more than just an educator—she is a passionate advocate for transformative learning experiences. With a blend of humor, relatability, and genuine enthusiasm, she believes in creating educational environments where every learner can flourish. With over 22 years of experience in the field, Andi has honed her skills in guiding educators, administrators, and families towards innovative strategies that bring these beliefs to life. Her journey has been marked by a dedication to finding what works, what doesn't, and why—offering insights that stem from authentic experiences and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by learners of all kinds. But perhaps what sets her apart most is her approachability and humor. She firmly believes that learning should be enjoyable, even when it's challenging. By infusing her work with warmth and relatability, she strives to create an environment where educators and families feel not only supported but inspired to embark on their own journeys of educational transformation.
