TAGT's New Coordinator Boot Camp is the best way to start your year if you are new to your role. Created by TAGT Emerging Leaders Program Alumni, this program is designed to provide new and aspiring district G/T coordinators with the knowledge and skills needed to begin this position with direction and understanding while providing the resources to effectively build and maintain appropriate educational services for G/T students in the district.

The workshop includes an overview of Texas G/T state and local policy, the Texas State Plan for the Education of G/T Students, identification and assessment, professional development requirements, and building internal and external relationships. Participants will leave this workshop with connections to the G/T community, along with a network of fellow leaders, new and experienced, to call on throughout the year.
